Dance League Kicks Off 2019 Season in Orlando. Yes, we are changing things up in our city line up. This year our season opener will be Orlando> Airport Hyatt Regency. Lots of advantages to coming to our opener. Special guest teachers and classes, a diverse attendees and a great venue If you haven’t been to a Dance League event, Orlando is a great choice to start. Big ballrooms with lots of room to dance! If you are traveling by air to attend, you have a very easy walk, from gate to room. Dine in with ease, because there are plenty of affordable options on site. Don’t forget we flipped our Saturday schedule by starting with competitions and finishing off the day with master classes. Several advantages by flipping the day. Competitors are fresh in the daytime hours and tend to be conditioned for late afternoon classes. You know what time the day is over, because it’s the last class of the day. Enjoy an evening out with your family and friends. Sunday classes start at a manageable 8:30 to 9 am. Dance League Conventions is a two day event that hosts multiple master dance teachers in various styles. Attendees can expect 5 hours per day of classes in many styles of dance, including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop and Contemporary. After classes end competition begins. Studios and independents compete against each other and are judged by the teachers they took class from. Awards are given out in multiple levels. Scholarships are available to students who audition during class time.
